The gallery's holdings include a wide selection of paintings and watercolors by distinguished artists including Birger Sandzen and Charles Partridge Adams as well as various WPA era and early Colorado prints.

The gallery showcases American regional art from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The gallery specializes in Rocky Mountain and early Colorado art including artists affiliated with the Broadmoor Art Academy in Colorado Springs and the Chappell House (forerunner to the Denver Art Museum). The gallery also focuses on New Mexico art including the Santa Fe and Taos schools; California plein-air and impressionism; and other early western American subject matter including Arizona and Utah related material. The style of material is largely modernist, plein-air, impressionist, and abstract.
